Just finished making the shirt in silk and the dress from a silk Kimono and the beautiful silk draping down is actually hand painted from long ago and will be the material for an item next.
Doubled sided waist coat made previous to Tiger and Eagle made from very old Kimono stitched with threads of colour like flicks of paint.

Tiger and Eagle Double sided waist coat..
Double sided waist coat from old Kimono featuring a wonderful Eagle and Tiger. This shirt is my first shirt made from a very old Kimono including an inner lining.
The B side of Tiger and Eagle ..the back is a lovely linen/silk/cotton deep green, the front a lovely embossed rich Red silk.

This vest is made with a rusty green Chinese silk on the outside .
The back with adjustment is recycled Japanese Kimono, as is the inner red silk with Pa Kua designs.
The trousers are made roomier by adding some Japanese cotton along the sides.
